Find The Key finished

ok so the game is released on steam: Find The Key

I write here the last dev log to find the key, just in case someone reports bugs or something like that I will put my hand back to the project,

actually usually when I do something I forget about it the next day and it is very frustrating that I am still thinking about this game after a month that I have finished it, however it is okay it is the first experience.

so the final thoughts on find the key, it's a very strange game that wants to convey a very specific thing to the player, I also understand why it's hard to write something like review and feedback from whoever plays it (lol)

in reality it had to last about 10 minutes more with an initial and final part that gave a more logical sense to what find the key represents, but I simply decided not to make them and keep the WTF sense, I like abstract art.

however although I have created it myself and played it dozens of times for testing purposes when I start it time passes quickly so I also find it quite funny, I am aware that it is something very abstract and that most people will not appreciate , but it doesn't matter that's okay, thanks to everyone who played. if nothing else, it will be the strangest game you have played in recent times. lol

So what am I going to do next?

I have already written dozens of stories I just have to choose which one to make, the problem is that I don't want to waste good stories with a realization that is not up to it .. at the moment on a technical level I can do better than find the key (obviously lol) but I think not yet enough for something really serious,

so probably the next game will be a normal horror game, narrative with a simple story without too many pretensions, some ideas I already have so I just have to choose, in any case I will do them all so it is not even a problem I will take the simplest. lol

the first experience on itch was bad for me, the impression of speaking to myself, no visibility and this post also won't see anyone etc, however when i start with the new game i should probably keep the dev log here from the very beginning, I do not know yet.

thanks for your attention and support in any case,

Edd
